“The boy loves his kitties!” is what my friend Anna told me of her adorable one year old Oliver, “I’m thinking of having a cat party”.
The thought of designing a cat themed birthday party had already been mulling over in my head for some time now. So I jumped at the chance to work my creative juices. I work better with deadlines anyway.
Anna is a no-nonsense kind of gal and she loves to have parties. But she has 6 kids and no time. So the over to top fancy parties are not her style.
My cat party printables and a trio of tissue paper balls were the extent of the decorations. Proof that all you need, is a set of great party printables, and a pair of scissors to have a wonderful looking themed party.
Burgers, vegetable dip, fruit cups, and chocolate kisses were the down to earth party essentials. The kisses were easily labeled with cat designs from the cat party printable set.
I just loved how those fruit cups looked so yummy lined up on the kitchen table.
My friend cleverly used the water bottle labels to wrap the juice boxes and transform them into a herd of cat cuteness. First time I’ve seen a herd of cats in an orderly line!
Even Oliver approved.
A couple of whacks at a pinata and all the kids filled a cat favor box bursting with candy!
The cupcakes were delicious and adorable with their pretty tabby cat wrappers and toppers.
After the party, the cat had his own photo shoot with the older brother. The party was so much fun! It would also be terrific for those of you who celebrate fur babies birthdays instead of of the birthdays of kiddos. Even the cat gets his own hat!

I loved designing this tabby cat party set so much that I designed a second cat themed party for girls featuring a black and white cat.
