Did you know approximately 60% of all the people in the United States watched the 2023 Super Bowl? When I read that fact, my first thought was that is a lot of football finger foods!
If we’re being honest, a significant number of the party guests at each Super Bowl party are not even football fans. They’re there to hang out with friends, for the tasty finger foods and maybe… for the commercials.

With this in mind, I thought I’d share some Super Bowl fun facts so that the non-football-fans can wow their friends at the party. So, thanks to Britannica and WalletHub, here you go:
- In 2024, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend made it to the Super Bowl.
- The first teams to compete in the Super Bowl were the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. That game was held 22 years before Taylor Swift was born, which is also the title of one of her most popular songs. (That was my last TS joke. I promise.)
- 12 NFL teams have never won a Super Bowl.
- In 2023, each member of the Bengals received a consolation prize of $75K.
- Each member of the Rams received $150K for winning.
- Phoenix is expected to receive 125K out-of-town visitors for the Super Bowl.
- State Farm Stadium is expecting 78,600 fans.
I hope you enjoyed my halftime show, which was not performed by Usher or Taylor Swift (oops, I lied). Anyway, let’s get back to discussing some excellent recipes for the big game.
I’ve pulled together a list of delicious foods to help you find something great to add to the game day menu.
You won’t find any sweet treats here, just savory Super Bowl appetizers. Some are easy finger foods that will take you no time at all to pull together. The other Super Bowl recipes, however, might require more effort or ingredients but they have the potential to take the podium for best Super Bowl snacks.
I’m sure you’ll find the perfect football finger foods for your party.
