Making homemade Christmas ornaments is one of my family’s favorite holiday activities; and now that I have older kids, we get to reminisce each holiday season with an array of fun ornaments.
Probably my favorite part about the tradition is having a visual reminder of my kids’ growth.
When I had little kids, I tried to stick to easy peasy homemade ornaments. A lot of times, they needed my help every step of the way. The ornaments didn’t always turn out beautiful but they had fun practicing fine motor skills and I got a collection of ornaments made by little hands.

Through the years, they got more creative with our fun Christmas craft. I blinked and my little girls didn’t need my help with the hot glue gun anymore!
