A couple of Christmases ago, I realized I was basically a walking GPS, directing guests to the trash and the bathroom all night, so last year I made these printable Christmas signs—and wow, game-changer.
We host a big Christmas Eve gathering with church friends, family, and every extra person they bring along, and as much as I love a full house, I don’t love repeating “down the hall, second door on the left” twelve times.

So instead of playing tour guide, I created a whole set of cute, clear, super-festive signs to do the talking for me.
They point your guests to the food, the drinks, the restroom, the trash and recycling, and all those little party hubs people tend to wander around looking for.
They’re editable in Canva, easy to print, and totally free—perfect for your party at home, at school, or at church.
If they saved my sanity, I’m betting they’ll save yours too.

All signs are letter-sized, and the portrait versions come in two formats:
- One-line foldable tent card
- Two-line foldable tent card
Both fold in half to create a big, sturdy sign that stands up beautifully on tables and counters.
Foldable Tent Card Signs (Portrait – Editable)
- Please Take One
- Mulled Wine
- Hot Cocoa

Great for buffet tables, countertops, and all those places guests naturally gravitate toward (or get lost trying to find).
Directional Signs (Landscape – Editable)
- Restroom →
- Restroom ←
- Trash
- Recycling
- No need to knock. Come on in.
- Cold Drinks outside
- Off Limits

Perfect for guiding guests through hallways, toward doors, and away from accidentally opening your kids’ bedroom instead of the bathroom.
How to Use These Printable Christmas Signs
Edit in Canva
Everything in this set is fully editable in Canva, so if you don’t love what I wrote, or you need something super specific for your party, just tweak the text and make it your own.
Don’t love my wording? Need “Bathroom” instead of “Restroom”? Hosting a Hot Chocolate bar instead of cocoa?
Just click the Canva link, swap the text, adjust the size, adjust the spacing, swap in different colors—go wild. It’s your party, your signs.

Print your Signs and Fold the Tent Cards
Just print at home, at school, or at your favorite copy shop.
For the portrait-style signs, these printable Christmas signs are better printed on carstock and fold along the middle to create a large standing tent card.
Perfect for buffet tables, counters, drink stations, and spots where guests would naturally look.
Place Them Around Your Party Space
Use them to clearly mark:
- Food and drinks
- Hot cocoa bar
- Trash and recycling
- The restroom (please, for both our sakes)
- “Off Limits” rooms
- “Please Take One” tables for party favors

6. Enjoy a Party Without Repeating Yourself
Seriously. Sit down, sip something warm, and let the signs do the talking.
Your future, less frazzled self will thank you.
